Dr. Bryan G. Armstrong
Optometric physician, Dr. Bryan G. Armstrong, was born in Fayetteville. His father, John G., is a pharmacist and his mother, Donna, a schoolteacher. He has one sister, Betsy, a RN. Dr. Armstrong's family settled in McCrory in Eastern Arkansas when he was 5. Dr. Armstrong was an excellent student and participated in most all sports while attending and graduating from McCrory High School.

Personal:
While practicing optometry in Bryant, Dr. Armstrong met and married his wife Annette, also a school teacher. Dr. Armstrong loves his family and is involved in his church and in Bryant’s civic and youth sports league activities. Additionally, he has been involved in the Arkansas Optometric Association as a board member for several years and has just completed a year as its president. He has also been honored for nine consecutive years as a readers’ choice “Best of the Best Optometrists” award for central Arkansas’ 12 counties.
Dr. Teri Whittaker
Dr. Whittaker is a native Arkansan, born and raised in Greenwood, where her family still resides. After graduating with honors from Greenwood High School, she attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She graduated with a degree in English in 2001. From there, she enrolled at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis to pursue a course of study to become a licensed Optometric Physician. In 2006, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and returned to Arkansas to join McFarland Eye Care, a large group practice specializing in providing cataract and refractive surgery services to patients throughout central Arkansas.
In 2013, she tested to achieve the status of Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry. She also earned her Advanced Procedure licensure in 2022, enabling her to perform some in-office laser procedures. After spending 14 years focused on surgical co-management and ocular disease, in 2020 Dr. Whittaker happily joined Bryant Eyecare Clinic.
She is thrilled to provide primary eye care to adults and school age children in Saline County. She resides in Benton with her son, who enjoys rock climbing. She is an avid reader who enjoys travel, baking and live music shows.
